We are Hiring – Staff Purchasing

Join our growing team at SML in Semarang!
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive individual with experience in purchasing – especially within the manufacturing industry.

Key Qualifications:

  • Minimum Bachelor’s Degree (S1)
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in purchasing / customer service, preferably in manufacturing industry
  • Fluent in English
  • Good communication & negotiation skills
  • Report writing ability
  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Experience or knowledge in PMC / CS (Product Material Control / Customer Services)
  • Familiar with manufacturing processes

 

Responsibilities include:

  • Handle purchasing process for materials and services
  • Source and negotiate with suppliers for best price, quality, and lead time
  • Coordinate with internal teams (production, planning, warehouse)
  • Prepare and manage orders and related documents
  • Monitor supplier performance and delivery timelines
  • Support PMC/CS functions as needed
  • Maintain accurate purchasing records and reports
