Textile Designer (Project Based)

Qualifications

• Strong sense of design, color, and composition with the ability to translate concepts into original, well-thought designs.
• Proficient in Adobe Illustrator and/or Photoshop, with clean, production-ready file preparation.
• Proven experience in textile patterns/prints, including seamless, half-drop, and mirror repeats.
• Good knowledge of fabric types, printing techniques (digital, screen), and color application on fabric.
• Up-to-date with fashion and textile trends, detail-oriented, and able to work under deadlines.
• Open to feedback, collaborative with creative & production teams, and able to manage time well.
• Portfolio is required.

Preferred (Plus Points):

• Experience in fashion collections (especially Eid / festive wear) with a strong sense of storytelling in concept-driven patterns.
• Experience in both placement prints and all-over patterns, with basic understanding of garment construction.
• Familiar with trend research tools (WGSN, Pinterest) & able to do hand-drawing/illustration.

Job Description

• Create original textile print designs aligned with collection concepts, including developing colorways and repeat patterns.
• Adapt and refine designs based on brand direction, product needs, and feedback.
• Collaborate closely with creative & production teams.
• Ensure all design files are ready for production and sampling.
