ASSISTANT MANAGER PURCHASING LOCAL

Job Desc

• Identify, source, and develop local suppliers.
• Negotiate pricing, quality standards, and lead times with suppliers.
• Conduct periodic supplier evaluations and performance assessments.
• Ensure a stable supply of materials to support production requirements.
• Monitor outstanding purchase orders and resolve delivery-related issues.
• Ensure materials are delivered on time according to the production schedule.
• Control the purchasing budget and drive procurement cost efficiency.
• Coordinate closely with PPIC, Warehouse, Merchandising, and Production departments.
• Maintain strong and professional relationships with suppliers.

Kriteria

• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline
• Minimum 5 years of experience in local purchasing/procurement.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and analytical thinking skills.
• Ability to work effectively under targets and tight deadlines.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Microsoft Excel.
• Detail-oriented, disciplined, and highly responsible.
• Good understanding of garment material procurement processes.
• Possess a broad network and database of local suppliers.
• Strong negotiation skills in pricing, delivery, and quality management.
• Familiarity with ERP/SAP systems is preferred.
